STEEL JET SALARY RANGES


First Officer Positions: Starting between $100,000 – $290,000

Captain Positions: Starting between $150,000 – $340,000

Fleet Manager Positions: Starting between $250,000 – $500,000


*ATP Certificate Required. A 15% reduction may apply to advertised salary ranges for candidates without an ATP certification.

Compensation Range: $300,000 – $500,000

Minimum Qualifications


Captain Candidates

  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate Required
  • Minimum 3,500 Total Flight Hours
  • Previous Part 135 PIC Jet Experience Preferred

First Officer Candidates

  • Commercial Pilot License Required
  • Minimum 1,500 Total Flight Hours


QUALIFICATIONS

Selected candidates will be contacted by a Personal Recruiter to discuss the next steps in the hiring process.

All pilots must hold either an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate or a Commercial Pilot License, depending on the assigned position.

Ideal candidates should demonstrate:

  • Previous Part 135 or Part 121 Jet PIC experience (for competitive Captain candidates)
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on exceeding member expectations
  • Professionalism as a brand ambassador
  • Flexibility with changing flight schedules
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • A proactive mindset focused on efficiency and continuous improvement


EARNING OPPORTUNITIES

Pilots may increase earnings through additional flight incentives and bonus programs. On average, pilots earn approximately 15% above their base salary through incentive opportunities.

Additional Compensation Includes:

  • Non-Rotation Day Pay
  • Flight Hour Bonuses:
  • $10,000 at 1,000 Hours
  • $20,000 at 2,000 Hours
  • $30,000 at 3,000 Hours

  • 15 Days On / 13 Days Off
  • 22 Days On / 8 Days Off (Select Pilots May Qualify)

Prescreening Call with the Director of Recruiting

Virtual Interview with the Interview Panel

Stage 2

In-Person Interview at Client Headquarters

Stage 3

Official Offer Letter Extended to Selected Candidates

The in-person interview process includes:

  • Panel Interview
  • Simulator Evaluation
  • Technical Assessment

Travel and hotel expenses for the in-person interview are reimbursed.
