Already trusted by federal, state and local government organisations across the US, our client has built a secure platform that enables agencies, partners, contractors, non-profits and community organisations to work together more effectively.

Following continued growth, they're looking to hire an Account Executive to help expand their presence across State and Local Government.

The Role:

As an Account Executive, you'll be responsible for managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close.

Working within State and Local Government, you'll engage with senior stakeholders, uncover operational challenges and position the platform as a critical solution for communication, stakeholder engagement and cross-agency collaboration.

You'll be supported by leadership, industry consultants and an organisation that is investing heavily in growth across the public sector market.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through to contract signature
• Build relationships across State, County and Local Government agencies
• Run consultative discovery conversations to identify business challenges and opportunities
• Develop compelling business cases and solution presentations
• Manage complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders
• Generate and manage your own pipeline within an assigned territory
• Partner with consultants and industry contacts to accelerate opportunity creation
• Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene
• Represent the business at conferences, trade shows and industry events
• Collaborate with leadership to influence market strategy and growth plans

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience
• Experience selling into State, County or Local Government is highly desirable
• Strong discovery and consultative selling skills
• Ability to manage complex opportunities with multiple stakeholders
• Experience developing and delivering executive-level presentations
• Highly organised with strong territory planning capabilities
• Comfortable operating within a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment

Highly Desirable

• Existing relationships within State or Local Government
• Experience selling workflow, collaboration, CRM, communications or operational software
• GovTech experience
• Familiarity with government procurement processes
• Experience selling solutions that require strategic problem solving rather than transactional sales

Compensation & Benefits

• $120,000 - $130,000 Base Salary
• $240,000 - $260,000 OTE
