Account Executive | FMCG SaaS

£55,000–£70,000 base | £110,000–£140,000 OTE | Reading Hybrid

We’re partnering with a fast-growing B2B SaaS business providing data and intelligence solutions to some of the world’s best-known FMCG brands.

The business is already working with more than half of the world’s top 20 FMCG companies and has built a strong UK customer base of around 90 organisations. With ARR now above £2m, the next phase is focused on doubling revenue year-on-year, increasing average contract values and expanding internationally.

They’re now looking for up to two Account Executives to join the commercial team and play a major role in that growth.

The Opportunity

This isn’t a role where you’ll inherit a rigid, established sales machine.

The commercial function is still being built, giving you the opportunity to influence how the team sells, improve the sales process and have a genuine impact on how the business scales.

You’ll be responsible for winning new customers across the FMCG market, while also having opportunities to support larger strategic and international deals.

The UK market alone represents hundreds of additional target accounts, alongside a significant opportunity to expand existing relationships into markets including the US, Australia and Europe.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Owning the full sales cycle from discovery through to close
  • Targeting FMCG organisations ranging from £100m turnover through to global enterprise brands
  • Building and managing your own pipeline alongside SDR, marketing and inbound support
  • Running structured discovery and solution-led sales conversations
  • Navigating multiple stakeholders and procurement processes
  • Selling primarily £10k–£30k ACV opportunities, with larger multi-market deals reaching £100k–£200k+
  • Working towards approximately £400k in annual revenue
  • Helping improve the sales process as the commercial team continues to scale
  • Supporting the business as it expands into new international markets

Average sales cycles are currently around 3.2 months, having already been reduced from approximately four months as the sales process has matured.

Who You’ll Sell To

Typical stakeholders include:

  • Heads of Category
  • National Account Managers
  • Heads of Ecommerce
  • Revenue Growth Management leaders
  • Senior commercial and FMCG stakeholders

About You

We’re looking for someone with approximately 2–3+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience who understands how to manage a proper end-to-end sales process.

You should be able to demonstrate:

  • Consistent experience closing new-logo SaaS business
  • Strong discovery and qualification skills
  • Experience taking opportunities from first conversation through procurement and close
  • Confidence managing multiple stakeholders
  • A proactive approach to generating your own opportunities
  • Strong commercial judgement rather than simply following a sales playbook
  • Energy, curiosity and the ability to operate in a growing environment
  • A track record of working towards and achieving revenue targets

Experience selling into FMCG organisations would be particularly valuable, although strong SaaS sellers from relevant environments will also be considered.

Why Join?

You’ll be joining at a point where there is already strong product-market validation, but significant room left to grow.

The business has ambitions to double revenue annually, a substantial addressable market, relationships with major global consumer brands and a leadership team investing heavily in improving the commercial function.

You’ll also work closely with a hands-on sales leader focused on coaching, improving process and helping sellers perform.

For someone who enjoys joining a business where they can sell, build and influence, rather than simply inherit an established process, there is plenty of scope to make an impact.
