About the Opportunity
Your Accelerated Path to Sales Leadership
Are you a highly driven, ambitious professional seeking a direct, accelerated route into C-suite consultative sales?
This role as a Sales Coordinator is a high-impact, full-time permanent training position designed as a 6–12 month accelerator into a sales career. You will be an integral part of the Membership Development team, directly responsible for fuelling new business growth by building and qualifying the executive sales pipeline.
Upon successful mastery of market dynamics, executive research, and sales qualification metrics (typically within 6–12 months), you will be eligible for promotion into a quota-carrying, front-line Membership Development Associate role. This is not a research job; it is the foundational sales training for your future with the organisation.
Responsibilities
You will combine strategic business research with tactical sales preparation, functioning as the engine behind the Membership Development team’s revenue goals. Your primary focus will be ensuring the sales team is equipped with a continuously qualified pipeline of C-suite executives.
- Executive Pipeline Generation: Conduct strategic, revenue-focused research to identify and qualify C-suite executive prospects (CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, etc.) within Fortune 500 and Global 5000 companies. This research represents the first step in the sales cycle.
- Sales Enablement & Pitch Support: Act as a key support system for Sales Directors by preparing comprehensive, customised pre-meeting dossiers. This includes synthesising company background, competitive intelligence, industry trends, and the prospect’s likely pain points to prepare the sales team for successful conversations.
- Market Intelligence Analysis: Develop a deep understanding of market dynamics, M&A activity, competitive landscapes, and executive movements. Your analysis of public financial information and sector influences will help inform sales targeting strategies.
- CRM Management: Ensure accurate tracking of sales activities, prospect status, and key intelligence within Salesforce to maintain a healthy and actionable sales pipeline.
Success Metrics
Your success will be measured through sales-driven metrics, including:
- Volume and quality of qualified prospects added to the pipeline
- Conversion rate of identified prospects into booked sales meetings
- Accuracy and impact of pre-meeting intelligence summaries provided to Sales Directors
- Speed of progression through training milestones toward a front-line sales role
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a sales-minded, resilient, and highly organised professional who approaches tasks through the lens of revenue growth and process efficiency.
You are a good fit if you are:
- Results-oriented and motivated by achieving measurable targets, with enthusiasm for progressing into a quota-carrying sales role
- Intellectually curious and strategic, able to quickly absorb complex business information and translate it into a sales advantage
- A collaborative contributor who enjoys working closely with senior Sales Directors and supporting deal progression
- Disciplined and accountable, with strong organisational and communication skills required to manage a complex sales pipeline
