About the practice

Our client is a respected residential architecture practice with a strong portfolio spanning bespoke new-build homes, refurbishments, and larger-scale residential schemes. Based in Sevenoaks, Kent, they have built a reputation for thoughtful, high-quality design delivered with genuine care for their clients. With a London Bridge office in the pipeline, this is a great moment to join a practice that is growing with real intention.

The opportunity

They are looking for a senior architect to take on a meaningful role across a varied residential caseload, from concept through to delivery. You will work closely with the directors and lead projects with a good degree of autonomy. The practice uses Revit as its primary design tool, so confidence and fluency in that environment is essential.

The role is fully remote to start, with the expectation of transitioning into the London Bridge office once it opens. Candidates based in London or the Home Counties are particularly well-placed for this.

What you will be doing

  • Leading residential projects from inception through to construction and handover
  • Producing and coordinating Revit models, drawings, and documentation to a high standard
  • Managing planning applications and navigating the statutory approval process
  • Liaising directly with clients, contractors, and consultants
  • Contributing to design reviews and supporting junior team members
  • Working collaboratively within a small, close-knit studio culture

What we are looking for

  • ARB registration — this is a firm requirement
  • Demonstrable experience in residential architecture across multiple project stages
  • Strong, confident working knowledge of Revit
  • Solid understanding of UK planning and building regulations
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-facing manner
  • The ability to manage your own workload and take ownership of projects
  • Based in London or the Home Counties, with the flexibility to work remotely in the near term

What is on offer

  • A senior role with genuine autonomy and a varied residential portfolio
  • Fully remote working initially, with a London Bridge base to follow
  • A supportive, design-led studio with a strong reputation in the residential sector
  • Competitive salary, commensurate with experience
