About the Role

This is a senior-level opportunity for a 3D-focused Retail Designer to take ownership of spatial concepts from early design through to delivery. You'll be responsible for leading the 3D direction across multiple projects, translating creative ideas into technically robust, beautifully considered environments.

You'll work closely with Design Directors, project teams, and clients, acting as a key creative and technical voice within the studio. This role suits someone confident in their craft, comfortable guiding others, and motivated by delivering work of consistently high quality.

Key Responsibilities

You'll lead the creation and delivery of spatial design across retail and experiential projects. That includes:

• Leading the creation of high-quality 3D design concepts
• Translating brand narratives and creative direction into compelling spatial designs
• Producing detailed 3D models, visuals, and presentations using Vectorworks and Cinema 4D
• Collaborating closely with Design Directors and project teams from concept through to delivery
• Supporting project delivery with technically accurate drawings and coordinated design information
• Liaising with clients, consultants, and external suppliers in a professional and confident manner
• Guiding and supporting junior designers, offering feedback and mentoring where appropriate
• Contributing to the development of studio standards, workflows, and best practice
• Attending client meetings, internal reviews, and site visits as required

Technical and Design Output

You'll be expected to confidently produce and oversee:

• Spatial concepts and 3D design development
• High-quality renders and visualisations
• Retail layouts and general arrangement drawings
• Internal elevations and key design details
• Design intent packages suitable for client and consultant coordination
• Presentation materials that clearly communicate design thinking and intent

Requirements

You'll need 5+ years' experience in retail or experiential design with a strong 3D focus, and proven experience delivering projects within a commercial studio environment.

Essential skills and experience:

• Advanced proficiency in Vectorworks and Cinema 4D
• Strong understanding of retail environments, materials, and spatial storytelling
• Confident communicator, comfortable presenting ideas internally and to clients
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to lead by example
• Eligibility to work in the UK
