A European eCommerce brand is looking for a Head of Growth to take them to €40M. The channels are there, the budget is there, and so is the autonomy. What's missing is the right person to drive it.

This is a full‑time, remote contractor role supporting a team on the CET timezone.

WHAT YOU’RE GETTING INTO

  • Own paid acquisition strategy and execution across Meta, Google, and Snapchat to scale monthly revenue from €2.5 million toward a €40 million annual goal.
  • Solve the #1 growth bottleneck: creative volume. Manage the Creative Strategists to dramatically increase the volume and testing velocity of winning ad creatives.
  • Lead the paid-side marketing team day to day: the Facebook media buyer, the Google agency, and the Creative Strategists, with regular touchpoints across email marketing and website teams.
  • Own the paid marketing calendar; coordinate product launches and sales moments so creatives, campaigns, and the wider team are ready on time.
  • Drive continuous optimization to lower the brand's break-even ROAS, creating more financial room to scale paid campaigns profitably.
  • Analyze channel performance, product margins, and competitors, and turn that data into clear scaling decisions.
  • Sync directly with the CEO and leadership team to align paid performance strategy with broader business operations.
  • Build the playbook for capturing market share across Germany and Europe, while preparing for future US market entry.


WHO YOU ARE

  • You come from a DTC brand where paid ads were the main growth engine, not just one of many channels - or you've scaled brands like this from inside a top performance agency.
  • You've personally managed at least several hundred thousand euros in monthly ad spend and understand the mechanics behind it, not just the dashboards.
  • You're comfortable with the tools: Shopify, Google Analytics, Triplewhale, Meta Ads Manager,  and you use AI tools like Claude as part of how you work.
  • You know how to read performance data and turn it into clear decisions. Not reports, decisions.
  • You can manage people and partners - internal specialists, external agencies, creative teams - and keep the energy high.
  • You thrive with autonomy and don't need someone telling you what to test next.
