A fast-scaling DTC supplement brand is looking for a Head of Visual to own video output end to end: managing the editor team, reviewing every video before it ships, and acting as the single point of contact for feedback and revisions. You become the person who decides whether a video is ready, and the reason strategists never have to touch a revision again.

It's the flagship inside a holding company with several other up-and-coming DTC brands. The founder has been building online businesses since he was 13 and is closely connected to many of the people behind today's top DTC supplement brands, which is part of why the company scaled unusually fast. The team is lean and high-velocity, around 35 people across the company, powered by proprietary AI tooling that lets a small creative group punch far above its weight.

This is a fully remote, full-time contractor role with flexible hours, reporting directly to the founder.

WHAT YOU’RE GETTING INTO
This role is focused on owning the video revision loop end to end, so strategists stay focused on concepting and the quality bar stays high as output scales.
You will:
- Review every video before it ships, making sure each ad has the right clips, pacing, scene structure, and text-to-visual alignment
- Give specific, actionable feedback to a team of 5 to 10 editors, becoming their single point of contact for questions and revisions
- Own the revision queue at high volume, keeping turnaround fast without letting quality slip
- Manage the editor team day to day, upholding training and onboarding standards as new editors join
- Stay in sync with the creative strategists so the final cut matches their vision, working alongside them rather than over them
- Work inside Slack and Frame.io as the home base for review, feedback, and editor communication
- Get fluent in the brand's AI talking-head and VSL formats, the bread and butter of what the team produces for Meta
WHO YOU ARE

You have real experience reviewing and revising direct-response video ads, ideally in high-volume paid social environments

You have a strong DR eye and can articulate exactly what makes an ad work and exactly what to change

You've managed or led editors before and know how to keep a team productive, accountable, and improving

You're comfortable with AI avatar-based creative; UGC experience isn't required

You're organized enough to run a heavy queue without things falling through the cracks

You take feedback without ego and give it the same way, direct and never personal

You come from DTC or ecommerce performance marketing, ideally supplements or a similar category

You're an execution person at heart. You want to make the work great, not escape into strategy and concepting
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

30 days: You've learned the brand's DR standards, the AI-avatar and VSL workflow, and the editor team, and you've taken over the revision queue.

60 days: You own all revisions. Strategists are spending noticeably less time on them, the quality bar is tighter, and turnaround is faster.

90 days: There's a measurable lift in winning-video rate or output, onboarding standards are documented, and the team runs smoothly without strategists touching revisions at all.
