This brand is still in its early stages and already pushing 800 creatives a month and almost all of it runs through one person: the founder. Every script, every angle, every brief. That's the bottleneck this role exists to break.


A founder-led DTC problem-solution supplement brand, built on speed and direct response, is looking for a Creative Strategist to own the entire creative function end-to-end: research, angles, hooks, scripts, landing pages, and the team that produces them.


Right now, creative is the constraint on growth. The brand is scaling faster than it can hire, and everything strategic still sits with the founder, which caps how fast they can ship and test. The moment a real strategist owns it, the whole thing moves 2–3x faster.



That's the job. You'll take creative from founder-dependent to a real engine, scale output toward 2,000 ads a month, and be measured on the only metric that matters here: how much spend your creative can hold profitably.


WHO THEY ARE

A founder-led DTC problem-solution supplement brand moving at a pace most operators don't think is possible. Four months into the space, the founder has built the store, launched the ads, run the learnings, made the hires, and pushed creative volume to 800 a month solo, focusing specifically on high-pain solutions for an older demographic experiencing joint pain.


The whole story is speed and execution. The founder carries an aggressive direct response edge—identifying with a completely unaware prospect and driving high volume straight into scaling funnels.


This is a fully remote, full-time contractor role aligned with EST working hours.

WHAT YOU’RE GETTING INTO

This role is focused on owning the creative function end to end and scaling output fast  from one person's output today toward 2,000 ads a month.

You will:

  • Write 10 direct response ad scripts daily, focusing on rapid iterations, while scaling total creative output to 25–30 shipped creatives a day over time by hiring, onboarding, and training elite editing talent under you.
  • Provide clear, structural direction and comprehensive briefs to the video editing team to ensure flawless asset execution.
  • Take full ownership of the production engine with the ultimate goal of scaling total creative output toward 2,000 ads per month.
  • Prioritize high-converting copy execution as your primary focus, providing core messaging frameworks before scaling out further team coordination.
  • Write conversion-focused, direct-response copy for landing pages and precursor marketing funnels to scale winning hooks.
  • Mine competitor libraries, adjacent niches, and customer reviews to uncover high-intent angles using modern creative software.
  • Leverage modern digital creative tools (such as TrendTrack, Foreplay, Motion, or Atria) to accelerate your strategy and testing velocity.
  • Organize creative pipelines inside project management workflows, setting up clean naming criteria and structured testing repositories.
  • Scale up the division over time by optimizing production workflows, managing editor resources, and driving concept generation to help the account hold $300K–$400K+ in monthly ad spend.


WHO YOU ARE

  • You have 3+ years in creative strategy and direct-response copywriting in high-spend environments (think $1M+/month in spend).
  • You have experience leading or managing a creative team of editors and designers to execute your vision.
  • You have extensive experience writing high-converting scripts for DTC brands, ideally within the supplement or health space.
  • You've personally taken a brand from six figures to seven- or eight-figure months.
  • You are exceptionally strong in both high-level creative strategy and hands-on direct-response copywriting.
  • You live and breathe media buying metrics, using ad account data to justify your next creative direction.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, lean startup environment where roles expand quickly and you operate with high autonomy.
  • You are highly fluent with ChatGPT, Claude, and modern AI tools to accelerate your daily workflow and writing speed.


WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

The seat runs on a scorecard, and it's blunt. The headline number is the ad spend your creative can profitably hold:

  • By Day 30: Ad spend scaled 50%. You have proven your copywriting inputs, own 80%+ of core creative concept output, and the core creative systems (research, scripting, testing, ideation) are in place to pull writing work off the founder.
  • By Day 45: Ad spend scaled 100%. Your copy inputs are hitting editor pipelines smoothly. You’re consistently shipping short-form scripts, testing new landing pages, and the overall creative win rate is up 50%.
  • By Day 60: Ad spend scaled 200%, carried by the scaling direct response copy frameworks and editor systems you run.
