Our client is seeking a Creative Strategist who uses performance data to drive creative decision-making. This isn’t a role for a conceptual designer who works in isolation; it’s for a high-tempo operator who can translate audience analytics into actionable briefs and high-converting ad content.


You will act as the essential link between the media buying team and the production team, ensuring every asset produced is rooted in performance hypotheses that move the needle on acquisition and scale.

This is a full-time contractor position.

WHAT YOU’RE GETTING INTO

  • Translate raw performance data into a structured testing schedule, ensuring the brand moves away from "guessing" and toward a repeatable system for finding winning ads
  • Writing the scripts and storyboards that go to editors and creators—your output is a clear, actionable blueprint that removes all ambiguity from the production process
  • Manage the end-to-end flow for multiple unique concepts every week, ensuring the brand’s creative never fatigues and stays ahead of rising CPAs
  • Sit in the ad accounts to diagnose "why" a hook failed or "why" a clip scaled, turning those technical metrics into creative pivots for the next batch of content
  • Document wins, losses and learnings, ensuring the brand’s knowledge compounds over time rather than living in people’s heads
  • Review every draft from the editing team with a "performance lens," providing the precise feedback needed to turn a mediocre edit into a high-scale winner
  • Collaborate weekly with the Acquisition Lead to ensure the creative strategy is perfectly synced with the scaling goals of the Meta and YouTube accounts
  • Work closely with the Content Lead to translate performance insights into new shoot and content ideas to produce future winning ads.


WHO YOU ARE

  • You have 3+ years of experience in creative strategy or performance marketing for high-growth D2C brands
  • You have a strong understanding of Meta and YouTube creative dynamics and know exactly what makes a thumb-stop
  • You have a proven track record of managing video editors and creators to ensure the highest level of ad performance
  • You "think" in performance terms. You are comfortable inside ad accounts and use data to guide every creative decision
  • You can lead creative processes while identifying and solving bottlenecks. You move fast and communicate clearly


Bonus points if you have:

  • Proficiency in CapCut or similar tools 
  • Experience with creative analytics tools like Motion
  • Proficiency in a second language, specifically French or Spanish
