Static Ad Designer

This company builds ecommerce brands from scratch and keeps them running, with several DTC brands across the US market and a fully remote team of 22 people. Right now, design work is split across freelancers and whoever on the team has bandwidth. That's not sustainable at 200 to 250 design requests a month across the portfolio, so they're bringing on the first dedicated in-house designer to own it.

WHO THEY ARE

A multi-brand DTC operator that builds and owns every product it launches rather than working client to client. The creative side already has structure: two creative strategists, an influencer manager with assistants, and two media buyers, all briefing through Asana. What's missing is someone to actually produce the work at the volume and speed the brands need.

  • Flat, fully remote team with direct CEO involvement
  • Formal briefing system already in place through Asana
  • Fast-paced, multi-brand environment with real output expectations
  • Performance-driven culture: design has to convert, not just look good

This is a fully remote, full-time employee role.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

  • You're the first in-house designer. No inherited backlog of bad processes; you get to set the standard for how design runs across the portfolio.
  • Clear growth path. As the brand portfolio grows, this role is set up to become Creative Lead, eventually building and managing a design team.
  • Direct access to the CEO during onboarding and beyond, plus a creative team already structured to brief you properly.
  • Variety, not repetition. You'll touch ad creatives, landing pages, email templates, product imagery, and packaging across multiple brands rather than one narrow lane.
  • Performance bonuses tied to the role, structured around what you actually influence.

WHAT YOU'RE GETTING INTO

  • Design ad creatives for Meta and TikTok campaigns across multiple brands
  • Build and design landing pages built around direct-response principles
  • Create email templates and social media content
  • Handle product image editing and contribute to packaging and box design
  • Work directly with creative strategists, the paid media team, and the email team on daily briefs
  • Maintain brand consistency across a growing portfolio while keeping production fast
  • Take feedback and revisions through Asana and turn them around quickly

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have at least 3+ years of graphic design experience with a DTC or performance marketing focus.
  • Your portfolio shows ad creatives, landing pages, and ecommerce assets that were built to convert, not just look good.
  • You're proficient in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
  • You understand direct-response design principles and the psychology behind what makes people click and buy
  • You have working UX/UI knowledge.
  • You can manage volume: 200+ requests a month across brands is normal here, not an outlier
  • You take briefs seriously and know how to turn a rough one into a sharp one when needed

Bonus if you've:

  • Designed across more than one brand or portfolio at once
  • Worked directly with creative strategists or media buyers on performance campaigns

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • 30 days: You understand all the brand identities, have reviewed the existing creative library, and have produced your first test assets.
  • 60 days: You're owning creative production independently for at least one brand.
  • 90 days: You're running the full creative pipeline across 2 to 3 brands.
