Company: Confidential – Specialist Engineering & Fire Suppression Solutions Provider
Location: Vestfold, Norway – near Drammen
About the Company
A well-established international engineering business specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of advanced fluid handling, pumping and fire suppression solutions for customers across marine, offshore, energy and industrial markets.
With a strong engineering heritage and extensive experience delivering technically demanding solutions, the company supports customers operating in environments where safety, reliability and equipment performance are critical.
The business provides engineered fire suppression systems alongside specialist pumping technologies and integrated equipment solutions, combining technical expertise with in-house engineering, manufacturing, assembly and testing capabilities.
The Opportunity
An established international engineering business is looking for an ambitious Technical Sales Engineer – Fire Suppression Systems to drive commercial growth across the marine, offshore and industrial markets.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of new business development, identify upcoming projects and build long-term relationships with customers requiring specialist fire suppression solutions.
You will be responsible for developing commercial opportunities from initial customer engagement through to technical solution development, proposal preparation, negotiation and contract award.
A key focus will be identifying new customers and projects, engaging with decision-makers at an early stage and positioning the company's engineering capabilities as a preferred solution for complex fire protection requirements.
The role will suit a commercially driven technical sales professional who enjoys opening doors, developing new business and building relationships within technically demanding industrial markets.
You do not necessarily need to be an expert in fire suppression technology from day one. The business is equally interested in individuals with strong commercial instincts, technical curiosity and a proven ability to identify and convert complex engineering sales opportunities.
Working closely with an experienced in-house team covering engineering, project management, manufacturing, assembly and testing, you will have the technical support needed to develop customer-specific solutions and successfully convert opportunities into business.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious engineering organisation where individual initiative, commercial drive and customer relationships can have a direct impact on future growth.
