The Company
Our client is an established, privately owned North East civil engineering contractor with a long-standing regional presence and a growing forward workload.
The business delivers a broad range of civil engineering, infrastructure and enabling works across County Durham and the wider North East. Projects vary considerably in size and complexity, from smaller regional schemes through to multi-million-pound contracts.
Their workload covers commercial and industrial developments, water and wastewater infrastructure, housing infrastructure, highways, environmental works and regeneration projects. The business operates both as a subcontractor and Principal Contractor and is continuing to grow the proportion of work it delivers directly.
Typical works undertaken include deep drainage, roads and sewers, utilities diversions, culverts, attenuation and storage systems, reinforced concrete works, retaining structures, external works, earthworks, site clearance, remediation and the reprocessing of site-won materials.
They also undertake flood alleviation and flood defence works, infrastructure associated with commercial and industrial developments, and specialist civil engineering works within water and sewage treatment environments.
The company has a strong regional identity and places considerable importance on safety, quality, communication and developing its own workforce. It continues to invest in training and professional development as the business grows.
