  • Promote a high-performance culture with clear expectations on safety, quality, and programme

Technical compliance

  • Oversee contaminated land and remediation activities, soil stabilisation, and bulk earthworks operations
  • Manage on-site and off-site material movements, including classification, testing/validation, and documentation
  • Maintain strong governance on permits, RAMS, temporary works where applicable, and technical assurance

Client and stakeholder management

  • Act as main point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders
  • Chair/attend progress meetings, provide clear updates, and build long-term client relationships
  • Ensure a professional, solutions-led approach that supports repeat business

Work winning / business development support

  • Provide input into tenders and pre-construction planning (methodology, programming, resourcing, risk, and commercial considerations)
  • Support relationship management and identification of opportunities within existing client networks

REQUIREMENTS (ESSENTIAL)

  • Proven track record as a Contracts Manager (or similar) within bulk earthworks, remediation, or civil engineering
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, subcontractors, and contractual processes
  • Working knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts
  • Confident leader with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • SMSTS

SALARY & BENEFITS
