Marketing Manager - 12 month FTC

This opportunity sits within a major UK organisation operating at scale across a complex, fast paced landscape with significant national and international reach. With continued investment in innovation, infrastructure and long term growth, the business is evolving rapidly and marketing plays a highly visible role in shaping its commercial narrative, market presence and future direction.


As part of this evolution, the organisation is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join the team on a 12 month FTC, covering a period of maternity leave. This is far more than a maintenance role; it offers the chance to step into a senior, influential position within a high performing marketing function where your ideas, strategic input and delivery capability will have genuine impact from day one.


Reporting directly into the senior marketing leadership team, the role combines strategic planning with hands on execution, leading the development and delivery of integrated multi channel campaigns that support lead generation, proposition development and wider commercial objectives. It would suit a confident, commercially minded marketing professional who thrives in a corporate environment and enjoys balancing big picture thinking with operational delivery.


The contract is available for an immediate start and offers flexibility through a hybrid working arrangement, with regular weekly office presence. What You Will Be Doing…

  • Leading the creation and delivery of integrated marketing plans that support business growth, using both digital and traditional channels
  • Translating business priorities into clear content and communication strategies that build awareness across regional, national and international audiences
  • Developing compelling propositions, differentiated offers and targeted campaigns that drive lead generation and conversion
  • Producing high‑quality content including press releases, blogs, case studies and internal communications, ensuring clarity and consistency
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, agencies and customers, while identifying opportunities arising from market and political developments

  • Someone mature in approach who can navigate a complex corporate environment with professionalism and ease
  • Strong communication skills, strategic thinking and the ability to turn challenges into practical, actionable solutions
  • Broad marketing experience including proposition development, content creation and CRM led segmentation
  • A collaborative team player with energy, initiative and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
