Our client is a global Insurance business seeking a Senior Data Architect to join the team on a permanent basis.

You will lead the development of the organisation’s enterprise data architecture strategy, creating scalable, secure and consistent data solutions across core insurance platforms. The role will establish architecture standards, modernise legacy environments and enable trusted data for operational, analytical and regulatory use.

Responsibilities:

·      Define and deliver the enterprise data architecture strategy, standards, reference architectures and future-state roadmap.

·      Design scalable, resilient and secure data architectures.

·      Provide architectural leadership for major data platform, cloud modernisation, digital transformation and regulatory initiatives.

·      Establish consistent insurance data models, governance, lineage, quality and security frameworks across the organisation.

·      Build and lead a high-performing Data Architecture function while partnering with engineering, analytics, product and business teams.

Skills/ Experience:

• 12+ years of experience in data architecture (hands-on)
• 5 years in senior leadership roles
• Insurance industry experience
• Microsoft stack
• Cloud expertise
