Job Title: Travel Support / Admin Specialist (French Speaking)

Location: Cape Town, South Africa


About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly detail-oriented and service-driven Travel Support / Admin Specialist to support Travel Consultants within a luxury travel environment. This role is focused on providing accurate, proactive, and reliable administrative support, enabling Consultants to dedicate their time to designing and delivering exceptional travel experiences.

The successful candidate will act as a key quality custodian throughout the booking and documentation process, ensuring precision, consistency, and high standards across all administrative and supplier-related tasks.


Key Responsibilities

Consultant & Sales Support

  • Respond to lead-warming enquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Prepare accurate and detailed travel quotations as instructed by Travel Consultants
  • Support the sales process through efficient administrative execution

Supplier Coordination & Bookings

  • Confirm services with suppliers and ensure all booking details are accurate
  • Assist with restaurant, activity, and day-tour bookings as required
  • Create and manage supplier payment tasks
  • Attend supplier presentations and maintain up-to-date product knowledge

Documentation & Quality Control

  • Upload and cross-check supplier invoices against costings
  • Prepare final travel documentation and vouchers for clients
  • Proactively identify, flag, and resolve potential itinerary or documentation oversights
  • Ensure all documentation meets internal quality and accuracy standards

Operational Support

  • Fulfil emergency phone duties on a rotational basis
  • Complete all required product and systems training
  • Maintain accurate records within internal systems


Requirements

  • National Senior Certificate (Matric)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales administration or travel support role within the tourism sector
  • Based in Cape Town
  • Fluent in spoken and written French (essential)
  • Strong administrative background within a fast-paced environment
