Junior technician

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Technician, located in Cape Town. The 

Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and technical support.

Knowledge and Experience

• Understanding of pos system

• Add and register users and waiters

• Reporting management

• Setup and manage pos database requests

• Configure network and serial printers

• Stock control and troubleshooting

• Add recipes and costing provided by stores

• POS day to day support

• Microsoft operating systems from Windows 11 up until Windows Server 2022 

but not limited

• Ability to build, maintain and repair computers, laptops and servers

• Strong fundamentals of networking and understanding of WLAN, VOIP, WAN, 

• POS and LAN environments but not limited.

Qualifications and Attributes

• Punctual and Presentable

• Strong work ethic and quick leaner

• Ability to work under pressure and motivated

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Relevant certifications or qualifications in IT

• NB. Must have a valid driver’s license
