EASA B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer – Airbus A320 Line Maintenance

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated EASA B1 Licensed Engineer with Airbus A320 family type rating to join our dynamic line maintenance team on a contract basis.

In this hands-on role, you will play a key part in ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely turnaround of our Airbus A320 fleet. You will perform a variety of line maintenance activities in a fast-paced operational environment, working closely with operations, crew, and other engineering teams to maintain the highest standards of safety and airworthiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance, including daily/weekly checks, defect rectification, troubleshooting, component changes, and servicing on Airbus A320 family aircraft
  • Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, structural, powerplant, and systems issues to identify root causes and implement effective repairs
  • Certify work performed and issue Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) in accordance with EASA regulations and company procedures
  • Complete accurate maintenance documentation and records using company systems
  • Support AOG recovery and out-of-hours operations as required (shift work)
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant EASA, company, and airport safety & quality standards

Essential Requirements

  • Valid EASA Part-66 Category B1 licence
  • Current and valid Airbus A320 family type rating (CFM56 / IAE V2500 experience essential)
  • Proven recent experience as certifying staff on A320 line maintenance
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure in a time-sensitive environment
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality
  • Right to work in the EU
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays

Desirable

  • Human Factors, EWIS, Fuel Tank Safety, and FTS training up to date
  • Previous experience in a Part-145 line maintenance environment
