Now Recruit on behalf of our Client are seeking a skilled Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker to join our line maintenance team, to work on A320 aircraft. This role combines sheet metal fabrication and repair with general aircraft mechanic duties to ensure airworthiness and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sheet metal repairs, modifications, and fabrication on A320 airframes, including skin panels, structural components, and assemblies.
- Conduct routine and non-routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of aircraft systems, including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
- Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering drawings to execute precise repairs and installations.
- Ensure compliance with EASA regulations, company standards, and safety protocols.
- Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with maintenance crews to support efficient aircraft turnaround during line maintenance operations.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in aircraft sheet metal work, preferably on A320 aircraft.
- Proficient in sheet metal techniques (cutting, forming, riveting, etc.) and aircraft mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with Airbus maintenance procedures and documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including night shifts and weekends.
