An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join a leading organisation within the building services sector. Based in Banbridge, this role will work closely with key suppliers to ensure materials and plant are delivered on time and meet the required quality standards across major projects.

Working as part of the Procurement team, you will be responsible for evaluating supplier performance, conducting supplier audits and monitoring quality metrics. You will develop strong supplier relationships, review manufacturing processes, manage corrective actions and work collaboratively with suppliers to identify process improvements and maintain quality and production continuity.

We are looking for someone with at least 5 years’ experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer or within a relevant quality control role. You should have a strong understanding of quality management systems, including ISO 9001, alongside practical experience of quality inspection, auditing and testing methods. Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage and monitor multiple suppliers effectively.

The role will require travel for supplier visits.

A degree in Engineering, Quality or a related discipline would be advantageous, as would knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, practical supplier audit experience, project management exposure and experience using problem-solving tools.
