Due to continued growth and strong performance, the business is now seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead its next phase of development.
This is a rare opportunity to take on a senior leadership role within a thriving, design-led organisation with an international footprint and a strong operational base in Omagh.
The Opportunity
As Managing Director, you will have overall responsibility for the leadership, financial performance and operational direction of the business. Working closely with the founder and senior team, you will help shape strategy, strengthen operational structure and ensure the company continues to grow in a sustainable and commercially robust way.
This is a hands-on role requiring a visible, on-site presence five days per week at the company’s Omagh headquarters. You will lead across sales, design, production, finance and operations, ensuring people, systems and processes are aligned to deliver outstanding results.
A strong financial foundation is central to this role. You will bring commercial rigour, financial discipline and structured decision-making to support profitable growth, while also maintaining close involvement in day-to-day operations.
What You Will Be Doing
You will provide clear financial and operational leadership, strengthening budgeting, forecasting, cost control and margin management across the business.
You will work closely with production and operations teams to improve efficiency, planning and delivery performance.
You will develop and support a high-performing leadership team, introducing accountability, structure and consistency while maintaining a positive, collaborative working environment.
You will act as a senior ambassador for Spires Art, building strong relationships with key clients, partners and stakeholders in the UK and internationally.
The Person
This role will suit a commercially astute leader with a strong finance background and extensive exposure to operational environments, ideally within manufacturing, production or project-based businesses.
You will be confident managing complex operations, leading multi-disciplinary teams and using financial insight to drive better commercial and operational decisions.
You will be comfortable operating within a creative, design-led business and understand how innovation, craftsmanship and commercial performance work together.
You will bring leadership presence, energy and credibility, with the ability to inspire people and drive performance.
