General Manager

Omagh, Northern Ireland (Onsite – 5 days per week) Appointed exclusively by May Consulting on behalf of Spires Art

Spires Art is a well-established and growing business operating within the specialist interiors sector, delivering design-led solutions across the hospitality and cruise markets. With a strong reputation built over 30 years and a clear ambition for growth, the business is now entering a new phase — focused on strengthening structure, improving performance and building the foundations for scale.

As part of this, the business is adopting the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and is seeking to appoint a General Manager who will play a central role in bringing clarity, accountability and traction to the organisation.

Working closely with the owner, this is a hands-on leadership role focused on translating vision into execution. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring that priorities are clear, performance is measured, and the team is aligned around delivering results.

This role will suit someone who thrives in a growing, entrepreneurial environment and enjoys building structure within a business. You will lead and develop the team across operations and delivery, implement clear processes and reporting, and introduce the disciplines required to support consistent performance and growth. A key part of the role will involve embedding EOS principles, including scorecards, structured meetings, accountability frameworks and clear goal-setting across the business.

You will be commercially aware and operationally strong, with the ability to balance immediate delivery with longer-term improvement. Equally important is the ability to bring focus, clarity and accountability to a business that is evolving — ensuring that plans are executed and outcomes delivered.

The successful candidate is likely to have experience in a senior operational or general management role within a manufacturing or project-led environment. You will be a natural organiser and implementer, comfortable leading people, improving systems and driving performance. Experience of EOS or similar operating frameworks would be advantageous, but not essential.

This is an opportunity to join a well-regarded business at an important stage in its development, where you will play a key role in shaping how it operates and grows over the coming years. A competitive package will be offered, aligned to the experience and calibre of the successful candidate.
