Programme Manager – Aerospace

Our client, a global leader in aircraft seating solutions, is seeking to appoint an experienced Programme Manager to oversee complex programmes for major airline and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) customers.
This role will take ownership of programme delivery from inception through to completion, ensuring customer requirements are met on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Acting as the key interface between the business and its customers, the Programme Manager will play a central role in driving performance, managing risk, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple seating programmes for international airline and aircraft manufacturer clients
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and relationship management
- Oversee programme budgets, timelines, and milestones, driving on-time, in-full delivery
- Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, operations, and quality teams to achieve project goals
- Identify and mitigate risks, while ensuring adherence to aerospace regulations and standards
- Provide regular reporting and updates to internal stakeholders and customers
Ideal candidate:
- Proven track record in programme or project management within aerospace, automotive, or advanced manufacturing
- Strong customer-facing skills, able to build trust and manage expectations at senior levels
- Experience working with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication abilities
- Strong financial and commercial awareness
- Degree qualified in engineering, business, or a related discipline (Prince2/APM certification desirable)
