HR Manager

Location: UK or Ireland (with regular travel)

Company: Leading M&E Contractor

Our client, a well-established Mechanical & Electrical contractor with operations across the UK and Ireland, is seeking to appoint a HR Manager to support the continued growth and success of the business.

This is a key role within the management team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of people management, compliance, and organisational development. The successful candidate will ensure HR policies, processes, and culture are aligned to business objectives while supporting managers and employees across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver the HR function across the UK & Ireland
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and organisational change
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and industry regulations across jurisdictions
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning in partnership with operational teams
  • Drive initiatives to support employee engagement, training, and retention
  • Partner with senior leadership to shape HR strategy and organisational development

Ideal candidate:

  • Proven HR management experience, ideally within construction, engineering, or related sectors
  • Strong knowledge of UK and Irish employment legislation
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels
  • Practical, solutions-focused approach with strong organisational skills
  • CIPD qualification (or equivalent) is desirable
