•Supporting AML/CTF Program Management: Assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s AML/CTF compliance program, ensuring it meets and aligns with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
•Being held accountable for the company-wide management and oversight of the Customer Due Diligence (CDD) process, including escalation handling and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for high-risk customers.
•Being held accountable for the management and oversight of the Transaction Monitoring Program, including the ongoing monitoring of loan transactions to identify suspicious activity and ensure the timely submission of Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs) to AUSTRAC.
•Conducting risk Assessments: Regular risk assessments of customers, loan products, and services to identify and mitigate potential AML/CTF risks.
•Training and Awareness: Supporting the development and delivery of AML/CTF training for staff and introducers to ensure awareness and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Reporting:
•Prepare and submit required reports to AUSTRAC, including SMRs and Threshold Transaction Reports (TTRs), within stipulated timeframes.
•Produce regular internal reports on AML and financial crime metrics, highlighting key risks, trends, and emerging issues to support management oversight and compliance
•Supporting policy development: Manage and maintain internal policies and procedures related to AML/CTF compliance.
