Financial Crime Analysts

Our client is a leading Australian precious metals group with a long standing reputation for integrity, quality, and trust. Operating across bullion trading, refining, manufacturing and vaulting, They play a critical role in the global precious metals supply chain.

As they continues to strengthen its financial crime and regulatory framework, we are seeking experienced AML, KYC or CDD/ECDD Analysts to support and enhance our AML/CTF program.

The Role:

Reporting into the Compliance function, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day AML operations and ensuring they meet the regulatory obligations under the AML/CTF Act.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting KYC / CDD / ECDD reviews across retail, wholesale and institutional clients
• Ongoing customer due diligence, periodic reviews and trigger events
• Transaction monitoring, investigation and escalation of suspicious activity
• Preparation and submission of SMRs where required
• Sanctions and PEP screening and assessment
• Supporting regulatory reporting and internal compliance reviews
• Contributing to AML policies, procedures and control improvements
• Working closely with front-office, operations and risk stakeholders

You will bring:

• 2–6+ years’ experience in AML / Financial Crime
• Strong working knowledge of AML/CTF obligations
• Hands-on experience with transaction monitoring and investigations
• Strong written skills for investigations and regulatory reporting
• Ability to work independently in a commercial, fast-paced environment

Experience in banking, financial services, bullion trading, payments or regulated trading environments will be highly regarded.
