Workday Reporting Consultant | Full Time Permanent | Remote, UK

The Opportunity:

This global organisation is seeking a skilled professional to take ownership of reporting on Workday and other closely related systems.

There's a strong focus across Prism Analytics, Extend applications, automated build tools, and Workday dashboards, alongside broader reporting and data visualisation work.

You'll regularly engage with stakeholders across Finance, HR, Technology and Change functions. Success in this role calls for confidence in presenting ideas, navigating disagreement constructively and collaborating across both internal teams and outside partners to keep deliverables aligned with wider business goals.

The Role:

• Apply design principles, development standards and governance practices to reports, dashboards, data models, definitions and underlying logic
• Design, build, and deliver Workday reporting outputs - including standard, advanced, matrix, and composite reports, alongside custom dashboards and worklets
• Develop and maintain calculated fields, custom reports and Workday data sources to support business reporting needs
• Apply governance and design standards to report structures, data models, security and business process configuration tied to reporting
• Build and manage Prism data pipelines and datasets to extend reporting capability beyond native Workday data
• Create and maintain Discovery Boards and interactive dashboards for business stakeholders
• Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, consistent, well-governed and fully auditable
• Partner with SMEs and leadership to translate business requirements into scalable Workday reporting solutions
• Support Workday releases, regression testing, tenant configuration changes and reporting-related integrations
• Champion automation and standardisation of recurring reporting processes within Workday

About You:

• Proven hands-on experience building reports within Workday, including advanced/matrix reporting, calculated fields and custom report writing
• Experience with Workday Prism Analytics, Discovery Boards and Dashboards
• Understanding of Workday security groups and domains as they relate to reporting access
• Exposure to Workday Extend and building custom applications is beneficial
• Familiarity with complementary BI tools, particularly Power BI and strong MS Office/Excel connectivity skills
• Strong data manipulation and analytical skills
• Ability to translate technical reporting concepts for non-technical audiences
• Comfortable adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced systems environment
• Good stakeholder influencing skills across varied internal audiences
