Senior Workday Analyst - Newcastle - Permanent - Hybrid

The Opportunity:

Take the lead on a recently launched Workday platform and play a central part in shaping how People technology develops across the business but joining a growing, ambitious organisation at a pivotal point, with Workday still in its early life and plenty of scope to build on the foundations already in place. Manage a small team of specialists while serving as the go-to Workday authority for the People function and influence both the long-term vision and the day-to-day delivery of the platform, making sure the organisation gets real value from its investment.

The Role:

• Set the direction for the Workday roadmap and drive a steady programme of enhancements and improvements
• Encourage adoption across the business so colleagues and leaders get the most from the system
• Partner with People, IT and Finance colleagues, as well as Workday and an external managed services provider, to join up processes, data and user journeys
• Build out our people data and reporting capability, giving leaders reliable, insightful information to support better decisions
• Lead, coach and develop your team, helping them grow and do their best work

About You:

• Strong hands-on Workday HCM experience, with a track record of leading development and change in a complex environment
• A practical thinker who can weigh up business needs, user experience and technical possibilities to land solutions that work
• Confident leading people, with a genuine interest in coaching others and building a supportive, high-performing team
• A natural relationship builder who is comfortable working across People, IT and Finance, managing suppliers, and engaging with stakeholders at every level
• Skilled at influencing decisions, solving problems and spotting ways to improve systems, processes and data
• Driven by the potential of Workday and people insight to improve the colleague experience and support business goals
