The Opportunity:

An opportunity for a Workday Integration Developer to join a global organisation at an important point in its HR technology journey. You’ll sit at the intersection of People teams, technical colleagues and external partners, turning business needs into well-engineered solutions that keep systems connected and data flowing reliably. This is a chance to make a big impact on a critical platform, shape how it evolves and see your work make a tangible difference to the people who rely on it every day.

The Role:

  • Be the Workday Integration SME for your area, offering clear technical direction to business analysts, architects and solution designers so that the best overall outcomes are reached
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand what they need, then shape those needs into practical designs and carry them through build, test and release
  • Assess the impact of proposed changes, and review designs, prototypes, and proof-of-concept work to confirm that end-to-end solutions are robust and fit for purpose
  • Help steer decisions on software architecture, bringing a technical perspective to long-term planning
  • Advise infrastructure design colleagues on how solution choices affect the wider technical landscape
  • Take responsibility for investigating and resolving technical issues in your domain, whether they affect live services or ongoing development work
  • Build and maintain integrations using Workday’s native toolset, including Orchestration, Studio, EIB, Cloud Connect, and APIs

About You:

  • At least three years of professional experience working with Workday in live, production settings
  • Delivered complex Workday builds within a large, international business, ideally supporting HR or Finance
  • Hands on experience developing and supporting Workday integrations, with experience in Prism and technical configuration
  • Multiple Workday module exposure
  • Experience delivering to deadlines within a matrixed organisation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bring colleagues and stakeholders along with you and to influence people well beyond your immediate team
