Workday Financials Functional Consultant

The Opportunity:
Play a key role in shaping and optimising a critical Workday Financials environment where your expertise will help drive efficient, scalable, and best-practice finance processes.
This is an opportunity for an experienced Workday Financials Functional Consultant who enjoys combining hands-on configuration with stakeholder engagement to deliver meaningful improvements across the Workday platform. You'll partner with Finance and business stakeholders to support day-to-day operations, deliver enhancements, and maximise the value of Workday Financials.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the Workday Financials functional area
- Perform hands-on Workday Financials configuration, enhancements, and optimisation activities
- Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions
- Configure and support financial business processes, reporting, security, and functional improvements
- Support key Financials modules including areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking & Settlement, Procurement, and Expenses where applicable
- Support Workday releases, testing, change activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Troubleshoot functional issues and provide guidance on Workday Financials best practices
- Collaborate with technical and functional teams to deliver successful Workday outcomes
- Act as the subject matter expert and trusted advisor for Workday Financials
About You:
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday Financials configuration
- Previous experience supporting Workday Financials within an implementation, enhancement, or AMS environment
- Strong understanding of Workday Financials business processes, reporting, security, and functional configuration
- Experience across one or more Workday Financials modules, such as General Ledger, Procurement, Expenses, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or Banking & Settlement
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently manage complex functional challenges
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in a collaborative hybrid environment
