Workday Absence & Time Tracking Consultant

As part of a wider Workday transformation programme, our client is seeking a Workday Absence & Time Tracking Consultant to take ownership of critical workforce management processes, helping to deliver scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency, employee experience and business performance.
The Opportunity:
- Lead the design, configuration and optimisation of Workday Absence and Time Tracking solutions across global business functions
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Operations and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions
- Configure and maintain absence plans, leave policies, accruals, eligibility rules, time entry, scheduling and approval workflows
- Support end-to-end project delivery activities including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment and post-go-live support
- Conduct impact assessments and recommend process improvements to maximise system efficiency and user experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional Workday teams to ensure seamless integration with Payroll, HCM and other connected modules
- Support data validation, testing cycles, UAT and defect resolution activities
- Provide subject matter expertise on Workday best practices, compliance requirements and process optimisation opportunities
- Create and maintain functional documentation, configuration workbooks and training materials
- Support business stakeholders through system enhancements, releases and continuous improvement initiatives
About You:
- Extensive experience implementing and supporting Workday Absence and Time Tracking within enterprise environments
- Strong functional expertise across Workday configuration, business processes, security and reporting related to Absence and Time Tracking
- Proven experience delivering Workday projects through requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment and hypercare phases
- Strong understanding of workforce management processes, leave management, accruals, time capture and payroll integration requirements
- Experience collaborating with HR, Payroll, IT and business stakeholders across complex organisations
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and workshop facilitation skills
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and recommend scalable solutions
- Workday certification in Absence and/or Time Tracking is highly desirable
- Experience working within international or multi-country Workday environments would be advantageous
