Senior Workday Programme Manager

The Opportunity:

Lead the next phase of a large-scale Workday transformation, driving the successful delivery of future deployment waves across a global organisation.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Workday Programme Manager who excels at leading complex Workday programmes, coordinating multiple workstreams, and engaging senior stakeholders to deliver successful business outcomes. You'll play a pivotal role in managing the next waves of the Workday deployment, ensuring timelines, governance, risks, and cross-functional teams remain aligned throughout the programme.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of the next phases of the Workday deployment programme.
• Manage multiple Workday workstreams, ensuring successful delivery across scope, budget, quality, and timelines.
• Develop and maintain programme plans, governance structures, RAID logs, and executive reporting.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, IT, implementation partners, and third-party vendors.
• Drive programme governance, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder communications.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate programme risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and Workday delivery milestones.
• Support change management, business readiness, testing, and deployment activities.
• Provide leadership, direction, and oversight across the programme while ensuring best-practice delivery methodologies.
• Act as the senior point of contact for programme governance and executive stakeholders.

About You:

• Proven experience leading large-scale Workday implementation or deployment programmes.
• Previous experience as a Senior Programme Manager, Programme Director, or Workday Delivery Lead.
• Strong understanding of Workday implementation methodologies and global deployment programmes.
• Experience managing multi-country or multi-phase Workday rollouts.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence senior executives.
• Strong governance, risk management, budgeting, and programme planning experience.
• Experience managing implementation partners and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Professional English is essential. German language skills are highly desirable.
