Workday Payroll Consultant

The Opportunity:
Play a key role in shaping and optimising a critical Workday Payroll environment where your expertise will help ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant payroll processes.
This is an opportunity for an experienced Workday Payroll Consultant who enjoys combining hands-on configuration with stakeholder engagement to deliver meaningful improvements across the Workday platform. You'll partner with Payroll, HR, and business stakeholders to support day-to-day operations, deliver enhancements, and maximise the value of Workday Payroll.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the Workday Payroll functional area
- Perform hands-on Workday Payroll configuration, enhancements, and optimisation activities
- Partner with Payroll and HR stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions
- Configure and support payroll business processes, security, reporting, and functional improvements
- Ensure payroll processes remain accurate, compliant, and aligned with business requirements
- Support Workday releases, testing, payroll validations, and change activities
- Troubleshoot functional issues and provide guidance on Workday Payroll best practices
- Collaborate with technical and functional teams to deliver successful Workday outcomes
- Act as the subject matter expert and trusted advisor for Workday Payroll
About You:
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday Payroll configuration
- Previous experience supporting Workday Payroll within an implementation, enhancement, or AMS environment
- Solid understanding of Workday Payroll business processes, configuration, reporting, and security
- Experience supporting payroll testing, releases, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently manage complex functional challenges
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in a collaborative hybrid environment
